Outdoor Classroom

Our school classes explore our beautiful Outdoor Classroom twice a week. Ms. Emma shares a lesson with each class once a week that entails how we treat and respect nature and the world around us.

The children also enjoy a range of outdoor activities including exploring our mud kitchens, rock wall, tee-pee, musical wall, block play tables, nature books, sensory garden beds, a variety of growing plants, our bunny Nibbles, and much more!

Music

Music

Every week, each of our classes enjoy the array of developmental, cognitive, and emotional benefits that come from music! Music also promotes rhythm and intonation, which are pre-reading skills. Each lesson is taught by Ms. Kate Lee, who plays five musical instruments and comes from a wonderful musical background. During music class, Ms. Kate shares musical instruments, music and movement activities, knowledge about composers, and so much more!

Art

We offer a weekly art class taught with a theme we like to call Little Masters. Taught by Rachel Galotti, the class allows our children to learn what art is, including the basics as well as learning all about the Masters that have historically shaped them. We also explore various art methods and techniques that enable the children to express themselves creativity, exercise their fine-motor skills, and enjoy the many emotional and developmental benefits of visual arts.

Chapel

The Pastor of OPC, our close partner, enjoys chapel once a week with our Pre-K and Kindergarten classes. Time spent together involves a biblical story, music, and song.
